Portrait Class

I took a class at the university this semester entitled “Light and Lighting” which was basically a portrait class.  Since I am not photogenic, I didn’t get any photos of me, but I found some willing volunteers amongst the student population.  For the final assignment we were told it was a ‘wild card’ shot where we could use any techniques we learned in class.

I didn’t want to try and beg some student into helping me out again so I came home and told my wife I had one last assignment and it had to be turned in today.  I asked her to put on her traditional Korean dress (한복) and sit in front of the room divider.  She reluctantly agreed and here is the photo I turned in for my final grade.

She is my muse.
