Iowa State Fair Photography Contest – The Nation’s Largest

This year I got froggy and decided to enter photographs in the Iowa State Fair Photography Contest.  The Iowa State Fair contest is the largest state fair contest in the nation with thousands of entries every year.  Last year, they had over 8,000 entries in the competition.

I know mine don’t probably stand a snowball’s chance, but I entered anyway.  Here are the photographs and their categories:

All I dare hope for with that many entries to compete against is maybe a honorable mention.  But we can dream……
