These Thoughts Are Almost Too Easy

Some people, who happen to earn a living writing, make these thoughts for the day way too easy.  The latest is Julie Zeilinger, who made one of my previous posts too, wrote an article about a PRIVATE Christian college who received permission from the government to deny entrance to members of the LGBT community because it goes against their religious beliefs.

The writer, proceeded to quote studies from five years ago and  ended her editorial disguised as a story with the following line “While O’Brien may remain concerned with his community’s rights as Christians, college administrators across the country — as well as the governmental officials approving such waivers — would do well to remember this nation’s supposed commitment to freedom and justice for all.”

Seriously?  “…commitment to freedom and justice for all.”

When two opposing sides disagree, only one side will get ‘justice’. ~ ME

What she wanted to say was “…commitment to freedom and justice for those who agree with my point of view.”
