I have addressed this before but will again today.
If you are a non-theist or atheist, I ask you to read Pascal’s Wager and consider the ramifications. It has nothing to do with my beliefs, but he did propose a valid point.
Pascal’s wager submits that if you don’t believe in God and you are right, you will never know when you die because there would be no conscious thought after death.
If you don’t believe in God and you are wrong, you will stand before God and have to try and rationalize you denying Him.
If you believe in God and are right, you will have eternal reward for worshipping Him.
If you believe in God and are wrong, you will never know because once again there is no conscious thought after death.
Which way are you willing to wager?
