Dr. Carson has been running for President and is a good man. He is running a no crap-slinging campaign and sticks to his principles and platform without compromise and for that he is very commendable. I think he could put America back on the right path because of his morals and intelligence.
He has relayed some of his beliefs that have nothing to do with running the country that are, in my opinion, way outside the foul line, but I have beliefs that someone else might believe are far fetched too.
I do know what his problem is though; he is too level headed and an upstanding citizen. He does not get riled and does not raise his voice and people take that as a sign of weakness or a lack of passion. I know his passion is there. I know he is a strong man just because he has been a pediatric neurosurgeon all these years and held those precious little lives in his hands without waiver.
Today, I tried to relay this on to Dr. Carson via his Facebook page. My post was:
“Ben, I think you are a good man running a race based upon a moral platform, but most Americans no longer recognize what that means. They have become so used to the drama of mudslinging and faux promises that a moral campaign does not stand a chance. So my best recommendation to you is stand up, raise your voice so that it can be heard over your competitors and pound your fist. Tell Americans that enough is enough and America needs a statesperson, not a career politician to take us out of the ditch and back on the road to righteousness. When a competitor points at you and tries to cut you down, remind the people that those who sling mud at others do so to draw attention away from their own shortcomings. Now, raise your hackles and show America you are the man for the job and will not kowtow to others.”
I believe if Dr. Carson starts showing what others can recognize as passion, he will become very viable in this race and will force others to turn their own campaigns around. It is time candidates tell us what they have done and will do and for the people of America hold them to their word.
