If you spend all your time ranting about something you don’t believe exists, you have some deep seated issues that has nothing to do with the entity you blame!
That’s right, I’m talking about those who spend all their time denying unicorns.
Now, before you go “Well it finally happened; the Rural Iowegian has finally started drinking the Kool-Aid from the well”, hear me out.
You have to admit that it is pretty ridiculous to rant on unicorn lovers as they are for the most part pretty good people who also believe in peace, love and brotherhood.
But there are those out there who will even make up lies about unicorns and unicorn lovers to try and turn others against unicorns. One of the most blatant ones are:
1. “More lives have been lost in the name of Unicorns than any other man-made deaths.” All it takes is someone to run the numbers and it can be clearly seen that the ratio is 5:1 in man-made deaths over deaths in the name of Unicorns.
2. “Since you cannot show me a unicorn or any other evidence a unicorn ever existed, it cannot be true.” I cannot show you a state of vacuum in space either, so does that not exist?
3. “Unicorn lovers are all hypocrites! They worship the Unicorn one day a week and the rest of the week they are out lusting after ponies, horses and donkeys!” Just because a person pronounces that he loves the Unicorn, does not necessarily make it so. If I were to proclaim that I am the king of the world, does it mean that it is so?
4. “My family was all murdered. If the Unicorn really existed he could not have let it happen.” Blaming a Unicorn for the actions of people is pretty much sophistry. The only entity you can blame for evil actions are the people who committed the atrocity.
My point is, if you don’t believe the Unicorn is factual, why do you feel it is necessary for you to attack it and those who to believe in the Unicorn? It doesn’t make sense to spend all that effort now does it.
Now, go back and replace “the Unicorn” and “Unicorn” with “God”. If you don’t believe in God, then there is no reason to spend your efforts attacking something you claim is imaginary.
