About The Rural Iowegian

I am the Rural Iowegian – A retired Air Force Master Sergeant who uses this blog to post as therapy for a stroke I suffered a couple years back. I am a Christian and not ashamed to say it. As a retired military person, I am pretty set in my views and don’t candy coat my posts. http://www.ruraliowegian.wordpress.com

I am the Aphoristic Photographer – Another blog where I post some of my photographs with mostly my own aphorisms or scripture attached. I like to share photographs that evoke feelings and thought. http://www.aphoristicpics.wordpress.com.

Finally, I am the writer of the Rural Poetry blog at http://www.ruralpoetry.wordpress.com

  2. Obama’s Healthcare Law made no sense when it was passed – “We have to pass it before we know what’s in it”- Nancy Pelosi, moron from Frisco. No one is going to get the benefits they expected or life the live they anticipated. Obama has seen that there will be very rich people, and everyone else, poor and middling.
What’s the way forward? Vote, and do everything in this country that is free.

    • Problem is that many of the people in this land believe the rhetoric being spewed by the democrats and their media outlet NBC. They’ll forget that Clinton let American diplomats needlessly die in Benghazi and vote for her in 2016. They’ll believe that what the Obama Administration did to this country is really the Republicans fault. It’s time to get rid of both parties in Washington D.C. and get people who are willing to represent their constituents in there. Too many sheep and not enough shepherds.

Geo. W. Bush, with the advice of his father’s coterie, also let Americans ‘needlessly die in’ Iraq. Do you ever discuss a balanced approach to politics?

  4. I read a couple of your posts, and I must say, they are delightful. You have a charming and honest manner of writing. I will definitely be back for more. 🙂

    • Why thank you. I think if someone is going to write a blog, they should be honest. Those who write what they think a reader wants to read are fakes and sooner or later contradict themselves proving that. Stop back anytime.

  5. Hello rural lowegian, I took the liberty of re-blogging ‘I met a man’ on http://awordfrommalchi.com
I pray you continue to prosper the gospel as you blog.

Oh goodness! I was so engrossed by this unfledged post. It gave me such great insight into what our brave soldiers endure. Being a handicap civilian I have always had great honor and respect for our armed forces. Thank you for your bravery.
